OEEK Non-Discrimination Policy

March 20, 2025

The Organization for European Expertise and Communication (OEEK) is committed to fostering a diverse and strong civil society by strengthening the capacity of individuals, communities, and organizations.

Our team works to ensure that civil society is progressive, diverse, and builds its activities based on the real needs of people. We value the importance of people’s active participation in processes that matter to them and their ability to influence what happens in society.

We respect partnerships, exchange of experience and expertise, mutual trust between individuals and organizations, as well as their collaboration for the benefit of society.

Our core values are human rights, gender equality, and environmental friendliness.

The Non-Discrimination Policy applies to all employees as well as consultants and experts who work with us on a temporary basis.

We affirm that all individuals working with OEEK under permanent or temporary contracts will be introduced to this policy and will sign it, thereby ensuring its implementation.

OEEK does not tolerate discrimination and shows respect to all individuals regardless of their sex, gender, sexual identity, ethnic, religious or political affiliation, age, disability, and other characteristics.

All people are of equal value, and their differences and specificities must be accepted and respected.

OEEK does not tolerate hate speech related to religious, national, cultural, or subcultural values — including expressions of racism, xenophobia, ethnic hostility and intolerance, homophobia, sexism, and the like.

We expect that everyone working with OEEK on a permanent or temporary basis will respect and be guided by this document in their work.

In the case of a violation of this policy, OEEK reserves the right to identify the instance of misconduct and provide feedback, or to terminate cooperation if there is a refusal to comply with the Non-Discrimination Policy.
